Welcome Visitors to New Zealand

Kia Ora and Welcome to New Zealand!   It would be our privilege to make your New Zealand holiday a treasured memory.  We have spectacularly gorgeous places to visit and one of our rental vehicles is a fantastic way to get around our beautiful country!

Whether you are a Kiwi returning home, a regular or first time visitor to New Zealand, we're here to help!  And to get us off to a good start we'd like to offer you a 5% discount if you book now.  Enter your planned itinerary in the booking box above and the promo code we've pre-entered for you will deduct 5% from our already competitive internet rates.

If you're not ready to book just yet you'll see the option as you go through the booking process to email yourself a quote.  You can exit at any time, you'll only be committed once you've actually given us your credit card information.  You may also like to make a note of the promo code 'row' so you can be sure to use it if you return to book later.

Be Safe in New Zealand

New Zealand is a great place to visit, but it is super important that you are prepared to drive safely in our country.

Watch our Safe Driving Video, in English, French or Chinese before you arrive in New Zealand and stay safe on our roads!

DriveSafe.org.nz has been developed to help visitors to New Zealand safely enjoy their self-drive holiday.  Driving is a great way to experience all New Zealand has to offer. But driving in New Zealand may be unlike driving in other countries and you will need to decide whether self-drive is an appropriate option for you. This site provides basic information about New Zealand road rules and etiquette, along with links to more details about everything that those unfamiliar with our roads need to know.  And, here's another link that will help you understand 'What's different about driving in NZ'

Another important safety consideration - all of Omega's cars are completely free of rental car branding, which means you won't easily be identified as a tourist from your car at least - which many people believe reduces the risk of an opportunist trying to steal your luggage.  Compared to many overseas countries New Zealand is a pretty safe place to visit, but it still pays to be sensible and minimise your risk.

Have a safe and happy holiday on our New Zealand roads, we look forward to being of service to you soon!
