Hydro Attack Queenstown is the world's first tour operator offering ordinary people the thrill of riding in a Seabreacher X Watercraft. This incredible two-person shark machine features a sleek, stylish body with a low centre of gravity. The powerful motors allow it to travel at high speeds along the water's surface, dive and submerge, and leap out high into the air. No other type of watercraft can do what the amazing Seabreacher can do, so this New Zealand experience is guaranteed to be totally unique.

So why is it called the Queenstown shark boat? Because each vessel sports an incredible, unique paint job to look like a shark, and as it speeds, jumps, and rolls through the water, it seems like a live animal. It’s the ultimate blend of shark and machine.

Want to test your own limits flying above and below the water on the adventure of a lifetime? Prepare to feel the g-forces inside a six-metre, high-technology, unique, semi-submersible shark ride in Queenstown, New Zealand.

An experienced captain who knows the capacities of the vessel pilots each shark machine, offering you an extraordinary Seabreacher ride. One passenger sits behind the pilot in a comfortable, ergonomically designed seat, into which they are firmly strapped. A small streamlined lifejacket is provided. The pneumatic sealed cockpit is relatively small, so wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. As the adrenaline starts to flow, it can get warm inside, so have a layer of clothing that you can remove easily. Hydro Attack’s friendly pilot may also require you to remove your shoes before entering the vessel.

Once the acrylic canopy is closed, the fun begins. The boat trip starts with a gentle cruise out of Queenstown Bay. Your driver will then pick the best route to take out on the lake – weather dependent – to ensure that your hydro shark Queenstown is unforgettable. A high swell, stormy conditions, or heavy rain can make operating unsafe, so check the weather before your trip’s due departure time.

Once out into the designated area, your driver will open up the throttle, and you will experience incredible G-forces up to 80km/h along the water's surface. You will feel like you’re inside a cross between a fighter jet and a torpedo as you experience huge dives, tight turns and side rolls at breakneck speed, and the world becomes a blur of spray. Then, suddenly, the pilot points the semi-submersible shark into the depths of the water. During your dive, you’ll have an unbelievable underwater view as you speed along at an astonishing 40km/h. Then, the nose comes up, and the shark machine shoots skywards, bursting out of the water and leaping high into the air.
