Omega specialise in one way hires at no extra cost (minimum hire period may apply).

If you wish to explore both the North and South Islands we are able to offer you a free vehicle exchange to save the cost of transporting the vehicle on the ferry. Just return your initial rental car to either Picton or Wellington, board your ferry and we will have a new rental vehicle waiting for you on the other side of Cook Strait.

Alternatively you can take your rental car on the ferry with you, no additional charges would be incurred from Omega Rental Cars New Zealand.

We can make your ferry reservations between North and South islands of New Zealand. Tickets can be collected upon pickup of your hire car and can be changed with 48 hrs notice (subject to availability).
